Uyvonna Lynn Cantrell, 45, of Flat Gap, died Thursday, Jan. 23,
2003 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center, Ashland.
  
Born Sept. 23, 1957, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of Lee
Edward Johns and Vileta Cooper. She was a LPN with Highland
Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
  
Additional survivors include her stepmother, Esta Salyers
Johnson; her husband, Eulas Paul Cantrell of Flat Gap; a son,
Brandon Paul Cantrell at home; a daughter, Monica Gale Spriggs
of Flat Gap; four brothers, James McKenzie and Keith Johnson,
both of Flat Gap, Gary Johnson of Hager Hill and Jerry McKenzie
of David; and two sisters, Lorita Sublett and Susan Bartley,
both of Flat Gap.
  
Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 26, at Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Revs. Carl Fyffe and Jerry Lee Castle
officiating.
  
Burial was in Salyers Family Cemetery, Red Bush, under direction
of Preston Funeral Home.
