Flora Ratliff Caldwell, 84, of Stambaugh, died Wednesday Jan.24
2001 in Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville.
  
Mrs. Caldwell was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Johnson County, a daughter
of the late Harvey and Nola Hampton Ratliff.
  
Her husband, John Q. Caldwell, died in 1978.
  
Surviving are two sons, Bobby Caldwell of Stambaugh and Billy
Caldwell of Groveport, Ohio; four daughters, Molly Carter of West
Jefferson, Ohio, Barbara Dale of Louisa, Shirlene Clark of Vero
Beach, Fla., and Betty Meade of Stambaugh; nine grandchildren; and
10 great-grandchildren.
  
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in Paintsville by James Kelly Caudill, Roger Jordan
and Harold Stevens.
  
Burial will be in Caldwell Family Cemetery in Stambaugh.
  
Friends may call anytime today and until time of the service
Saturday at the funeral home.
