EXIE VIRGINIA BUTCHER
1945-2006
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 23, 1 p.m. at the Big
Sandy Community Church for Exie Virginia Howard Butcher, 60, of
Boons Camp, Ky., who passed away Friday, Jan. 20 at her residence.
Mrs. Butcher was born March 8, 1945 in Martin County, Ky.,
daughter of the late Jim and Cora Sherman Howard.
Surviving are her husband, Cecil Butcher of Boons Camp; six sons,
Cecil Jr., Lenzie, Benny and James Butcher, all of Boons Camp, and
Tracy and Albert Butcher, both of Inez, Ky.; one daughter,
Catherine Castle of Paintsville, Ky.; one brother, Gilbert Howard
of Paintsville; four sisters, Rella Amburgy of Tomahawk, Ky., Emma
Jane and Sharon Davis, both of Inez, and Vaoma Burchfield of
Columbus, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Terry Dalton, Braney Goins, and
Charlie Wiley, with burial in the Cecil Butcher Cemetery at Boons
Camp.
Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
