VINA BURTON 1874-1959 Mrs. Vina Burton, 84, well-known and beloved resident of this city, died at her home on West Third Street, Sunday at 11:10 p.m., following an illness of several months. She was the mother of Mrs. Russell Chandler of this city. The daughter of Isaac and Luvina Wheeler Chandler, she was born at Chandlerville November 30, 1874. She was a member of the First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. T. Burton, who died in 1955, and by a daughter, Mrs. Field Stapleton. Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Sanford Chandler, Danville; a sister, Mrs. Cora Wheeler, Chandlerville; a brother, Jay Chandler, Minford, O. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., today from the First Church of God with Tommie Reynolds, Moses Kitchen and Woodrow Frisby as officiating ministers. Music was by the Toms Creek Quartet.
