Rex Burns, 69, of Tutor Key, died Saturday Nov.25 2000 in Paul B.
Hall Medical Center at Paintsville.
  
Mr. Burns was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Johnson County, a son of the
late Carl and Virgie Bolden Burns.
  
He was a retired miner.
     
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Marshall Burns; five brothers, Harold
Jay Burns of Wabash, Ind., and Carl Burns, Corbitt Burns, Smith
Burns, and Roy Lee Burns, all of Nippa; and two sisters, Mary
Williams of Sitka, and Magdalene Blackburn of Debord.
  
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Preston Funeral Home
at Paintsville by Jeff Burchett.
  
Burial will be in Burns Cemetery at Nippa. Friends may call from 1
to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
