 WILLIAMS H. BLEVINS

Funeral services for PFC. William H. Blevins, 18, who was killed in
Korea, July 28, 1950 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the
Third Street Freewill Baptist Church.

Claude Preston and Grant Hitchcock, Jr., will be officiating
ministers.

The son of Johnnie and Flora Blair Blevins of this city, he was
born September 2, 1931, in Johnson County.

Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Coffe
of Wayne, Michigan; Mrs. Bonita Christian, Los Angeles, California,
two brothers, Bruce M. Blevins, U.S. Army and Noramn Blevins,
Columbus Ohio. The American Legion will be in charge of graveside
services.

Burial will be in the family cemetery at Paintsville under the
direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home.
