HENRY C. BLEVINS
1909-1987
Henry C. "Buck" Blevins, 78, died Sunday, June 13, 1987 in Paul B.
Hall Medical Center.
Mr. Blevins was born May 20, 1909 in Morgan County, the son of Eli
and Angie Smith Blevins.
He was a retired miner and member of Daniels Creek Regular Baptist
Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Mann Blevins; one son, Charles Henry
Blevins, Van Lear, five daughters, Erma Blevins and Tina Blevins;
both of Van Lear, Marie Maples of,Nippa, Goldie Middleton and
Virgie Keller, both of Wabash. Indiana; one stepdaughter, Veronica
Bowling, of Van Lear, three half- sisters Gertrude Hayden and
Sylvia Taylor, both of Auxier, and Nettle Walters, of Marysville,
Indiana; and 11 grandchildren, nine great-greatchildren, one step-
child and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 16, in Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with John Dollarhide officiating.
Burial was in Butcher Cemetery at Van, Lear.
