Death Takes Eli Blevins
  
Eli Blevins, 80, died July 15 at his home at Meally after an
illness of three months.
  
Mr. Blevins was born in Virginia, the son of Willie and Rushie
Blevins.
  
He moved to Meally from Van Lear about six months ago. He was a
member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving besides his wife, are the following children, Buck
Blevins, Chester Blevins, Dodge Blevins, Dick Blevins, Mrs.
Emiline Roberts, Mrs. Gertrude Jones, Mrs. Flora Hurt, and Mrs.
Nettie Celie Taylor.
  
Funeral Services were held at the Buffalo Church Saturday at 10
a.m. by Revs. J. C. Sparks, Elsie Banks, and F. F. Riggsby.
  
Burial was made in a Daniels Creek Cemetery under the direction of
Guy's Funeral Home.
