WILLIAM S. BLANTON
1940-1986
  
William S. Blanton, 45, died Saturday, July 5, in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Blanton was born December 2, 1940, in Johnson County, the son
of  HASKELL and LUDA JONES BLANTON.
  
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and an employee of
consolidated Design and Consultant, Inc.
  
Surviving are his wife, Marcia Spencer Blanton; his father; two
sons, Willim S. Blanton, Jr., and Devin Blanton, of Beattyville;
one daughter, Cassandra Janel Blanton, of Beattyville; three
brothers, Tommy Blanton, of Flat Gap, and Jack Blanton and
Kendrick Blanton, of Volga; two sisters, Roberta Blanton and Linda
Eshman, of Gerorgetown.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Fugate officiating.
  
Burial was in the Blanton Cemetery at Volga.
