Hager Hill resident Elbert Bayes, 74, died Saturday, November
20, 1999 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Bayes was born June 5, 1925, in Johnson County, to the late
Newt and Dicie Ramey Bayes.
  
He was an employee with the State Highway Department and a
veteran of World War II.
  
Surviving are his wife, Hester Bayes; and three nieces and one
nephew.
