Funeral services were held Sunday, April 4, 2 p.m. at the Little
Friendship United Baptist Church for Patricia Gaye Barton, 41, who
passed away Thursday, April 1, 2004 at her residence at Boons Camp,
Ky.
Mrs. Barton was born May 1, 1962 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter
of Rodrick “Pete” and Birdie Hall Mollette.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Carlos Barton
of Boons Camp, Ky.; one son, Carlos Dakota Barton of Warfield, Ky.;
two daughters, Rachel Marie Taylor of Phyllis, Ky., and Amber
Nicole Mollette of Boons Camp, Ky.; three brothers, Rodrick
Mollette Jr., Travis Wayne, and Tracy Brian Mollette, all of Boons
Camp, Ky.; four sisters, Sherry Crum of Williamsport, Ky., Sandra
Cook of Meally, Ky., Lana Sloane of Phyllis, Ky., and Lora D.
Mollette of Hager Hill, Ky.
The service was officiated by Claude Mollette, Glen Penix, and
Kenny Preece, with burial in the Pete Mollette Cemetery at Boons
Camp, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
