VALDA BARKER
1941-2005
Valda Barker, 64, of Lowmansville, died Tuesday, Oct.25, 2005 at Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born Sept. 21, 1941, in Morgan County, she was a daughter of the late
Howard and Thelbert Lacy Ratliff.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barker.
Survivors include a stepson, Robert Barker of Hager Hill; two
daughters, Donna Gaines of Columbus, Ohio, and Debra Teel of New
York; a step-daughter, Teressa Horn of Hager Hill; two brothers,
Warren Ratliff and Donald Ratliff, both of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters,
Teressa Rhoannon and Rhonda Marshall, both of Dayton; six
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Friday, Oct. 28, at Preston
Funeral Chapel, Paintsville, with Terry Conley and Tim Salyer
officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home.
