OLGA LENA BALDWIN
1904-1974
     
Mrs. Olga Lena Baldwin died at her Oil Springs home Thursday, August
15, 1974 at the age of 70.
  
Born in Barnett's Creek on January 18 1904, Mrs. Baldwin was the
daughter of the late David Sherman and Ella C. Preston Picklesimer.
  
She was a retired school teacher and member of the United Baptist
Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Sherman D. Baldwin, whom she married on
August 15 1936; a daughter Mrs.Phyllis Green of Grove City, Ohio; a
son David S. Baldwin of Springfield,Ohio; one grandson; three
granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Edna Stapleton of Wittensville and a
brother Rodney Picklesimer of Paintsville.
  
Funeral services for Mrs. Baldwin were held Sunday August 18 in the
Davis Branch United Baptist Church at Oil Springs with Elders Arnold
Reed and Lonza Reed officiating.
  
Burial was in the Preston Cemetery at Barnett's Creek with
arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home
