Richard Arms, 59, of Mt. Airy, N.C., formerly of Johnson
County, died Saturday Sep.04 1999, in San Louis Valley
Regional Medical Center in Colorado.
  
Mr. Arms was born July 20, 1940, in Johnson County, a son of
Minnie Arms of Johnson County and the late Daniel Arms.
  
He was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
  
Additional survivors include his wife, Mary Trimble Arms;
two daughters, Pamala Arms of Mt. Airy and Melissa Arms
Mazzini of Nicholasville; a brother, Roy Arms of
Paintsville; four sisters, Martha Vandeventer and Shirley
Walls, both of Indiana, and Helen Arms and Dorothy Hatton,
both of Winchester; and a grandchild.
  
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville by Mike Blanton.
  
Burial will be in Conley Cemetery in Staffordsville. Friends
may call from 6 to 10 tonight at the funeral home.
