Paintsville resident Howard Arms, 50, died September 18 in St. Joe
Hospital, Lexington.
  
Mr. Arms was born January 22, 1934 in Johnson County, the son of
Minnie Arms Arms and the late Daneil Arms.
  
He was retired from the U. S. Army, a member of the Catholic
Church and Paintsville Masonic Lodge and El Hasa Temple.
  
Surviving are two brothers, Richard and Roy Arms of Paintsville;
and four sisters, Helen Arms and Dorothy Hatton, Winchester,
Martha Caudill and Shirley Wells of Warsaw, IN.
  
Funeral services were held September 21 in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Revs. Dick Vanhoose and Tom Bowman officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at East Point.
