Retired teacher Flora "Shug" Adams, 90, died Saturday, July 19,
1997, at Mountain Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Adams was born September 26, 1906, to the late Lon and Lora
Fairchild Daniel. She was retired from the Johnson County School
System.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Adams, in 1962.

Surviving are one, daughter, Janna Sheets of River; three sisters,
Edna Daniel of Paintsville, Olga Kerns of Tutor Key and Loretta
Nietubic of Flagler, Florida; and three grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, at Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Bob Lyons and Hubert Slone officiating.

Burial was in Lon Daniel Cemetery at Tutor Key.
