CARL ADAMS
1907-1962

Carl Adams, 55, well-known resident of Tutor Key, died at his home at
1:45 p.m. Saturday, August 18, following an illness of several
months.

Mr. Adams was born in this county August 16, 1907, the son of K. B.
Adams and the late Maudie Stapleton Adams. He had been a lifelong
resident of the county. He had been engaged in the mining industry
for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Flora Daniel Adams; a daughter, Mrs.
Paul Milton Sheets, Tutor Key; three brothers, Erchel Adams, Wharton,
WV, Bert Adams, Wharton, WV, Ernest Adams, Waverly, OH, three
sisters, Mrs. Callie Daniel, city, Mrs. Ethel Preston, Tutor Key,
Mrs. Irene Preston, David.

Also surviving are a grandson, Michael D. Sheets and a granddaughter,
Myra Denese Sheets.

Funeral services were conducted at the home at 1 p.m. Monday with C.
C. Hall and Claude Preston as officiating ministers.

Music was by the Angus Castle Quartet. Burial was in the Daniel
Cemetery.
