MARY O’BRYAN

1897-1995

Funeral services were held Monday, May 29, 1995 for Mary Esta Woods
O’Bryan, 97, who died Saturday, May 27 at Mountain Manor Nursing
Home, Prestonsburg.

Mrs. O’Bryan was born November 3, 1897 in Morgan County, the
daughter of the late Charlie Woods and Emma McKenzie.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, William G. O’Bryan, on
March 18, 1940.

Surviving are four sons, Walter O’Bryan of Nippa, Billy J. O’Bryan
of Paris, Estill O’Bryan of New Concord, Ohio and Robert E. O’Bryan
of Huntington, West Virginia; three daughters, Vivian L. Blanton of
Somerset, Betty Salyer of Columbus, Ohio and Janice Mayhew of
Paintsville; two sisters, Clara Collier and Suna Gibbs, both of
Mechanicsburg, Ohio; and 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren
and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Officiating at services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel were
Tobe Wheeler and Dick VanHoose.

Burial was in O’Bryan Family Cemetery at Staffordsville.
