Mrs.Emma Woods,78, wife of Charley Woods of Lowmansville, died in
a local hospital Monday morning following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late John and Sevill Seagraves McKenzie, She
was born October 2,1880 in Morgan County and had made her home at
Lowmansville for the past thirtenn years.She had been a member of
the Freewill Baptist Church since she was 16 years of age.

Survivours include besides her husband,three sons, James Woods,
Ashland;John Woods of this city; Jess Woods,Lowmansville; four
daughters, Mrs.Esta O'Bryan, Staffordsville; Mrs.Clara Collier,
Mechanicsburg,Ohio; Mrs.Suma Gibbs,Woodstock,Ohio;Mrs.Easter
Lemaster,Chandlerville; one brother Merida McKenzie, Flat Gap;44
grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m.,today from the
Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church with Don Fraley and Scott
Griffith was officiating ministers. Music was by the Toms Creek
Singers.

Burial was in the O'Bryan family cemetery at Staffordsville.
