SADIE WELLS

Mrs.Sadie Wells, 57, died on May 8, at Raceland, Kentucky, after
an extened illness.
  
Born June 29, 1908, she was the daughter of Perry and Alberta
Spears Collins and had been resident of Daniels Creek all her
life. She was an affiliate of the Church of Christ.
  
Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband, Ali Wells, three sons,
Sammy, Franklin and Ali Wells, Jr., Van Lear ; eight daughters,
Jean Caudill, Russell; Eileen Oney, Raceland; Mary Collins,
Loraine Blair, Donnis Ann Wells, Van Lear; Mary Allen, Columbus,
Ga.; Cindy Morris, Ashland; Donna Rambo; Worthington, Ohio.
  
Other survivors include five brothers, Hansford Collins, Denver,
Colorado; Tillman Collins, Flatwoods; Joe Collins, Weeksberry;
James and Harmon Collins, Taylor, Mich.; three sisters, Rosa
Stafford, Coal Grove, Ohio; Estell Gibson, Florida, Cynthia
Collins, Van Lear.
  
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren .
  
Funeral services were conducted May 11 at 2:00 p.m., at the home
with the Revs. Spurgeon Honeycutt and Cecil Sherman officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Daniels Creek.
