HILDA WELLS

Hilda Wells, 78, of Van Lear, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006 at
her residence.
Born Jan. 15, 1928, at Honolulu, Hawaii, she was a daughter
of the late Marcelino and Madalin Montalbo Idigpio.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wells Jr.,
in 2001; a son, Roy Neal Wells; a brother, Marcelino Idigpio
Jr.; and two sisters, Patricia Idigpio and Maria Idigpio.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas Earl Wells, David Rolland
Wells, and Brian Keith Wells, all of Daniels Creek, and
Edward L. Wells of Williamsport; a daughter, Lois Collins of
Hager Hill; two brothers, David Idigpio of Gulf Port, Miss.
and Ronnie Henderson of California; a sister, Tina McCarthy
of Philadelphia, Penn.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 1, at
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville, with Ken Chambers
officiating.
Burial will be in Wells-Webb Cemetery, Daniels Creek, under
direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home.
