DAVE WEBB
Dave Webb, 63-year old Southside resident died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McFaddin, Friday, February 13, while watching television. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
A retired railroad worker he was born in this county July 3, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Webb.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge. He was married in Paintsville August 30, 1918 to Sissie Conley who survives him.
Surviving besides his widow are four children; two daughters, Mrs. June Delaney, Olive Hill, Mrs. Jane Phipps, Jackson, Ohio; two sons, Glen, Pikeville, and Elmer of this city. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. George Ratliff, Lackey, Ky., Mintie Conley, Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Elias George, Thelma, Ky.; three brothers; W.G. Webb, Auxier, Herbert Webb, Huntington, W.Va., Hack Webb, West Van Lear. Thirteen grandchildren also survive.
Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday February 15, at the Southside Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. H.E. Willis, pastor.
Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
