CHESTER C. WEBB
1923-2007
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 1 p.m. at the Phelps &
Son Funeral Home in Paintsville, Ky., for Chester C. Webb, 84, of
Van Lear, Ky., who passed away Monday, Dec. 31 at Highlands Regional
Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
Mr. Webb was born Oct. 13, 1923 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the
late Willie Wells and Bertha Clark.
He was a coal miner and a veteran of WW II.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Vires Webb of Van Lear; two sons,
Danny and Larry Webb, both of Van Lear; two daughters, Bernice
Austin and Elsie Ramey, both of Paintsville; and three
grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Greg Nichols and Rod Wells, with
burial in the Wells Cemetery at Van Lear.
Arrangements under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
