William B. Ward, 94, lifelong resident of Johnson County, died
Saturday afternoon Sep. 1956, at the home of his neice, Mrs.
Martha Hall, Boons Camp, following an illness of a year.

Born July 29 1862, he was the son of William H. and Mary Stambaugh
Ward. He was a retired blacksmith.

Surviving are his wife, Josephine Conley Ward, Lancaster, Ohio;
and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Dutton, Mechanicsburg, Ohio; and
Mrs. Grace Johnson, Stoutsville, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the home of Mrs. Hall
at Boons Camp, with Leonard Walters as officiating minister.

Burial was made in the Butcher Cemetery at Boons Camp under the
direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home.
