HANSFORD TEATER
1916-1974
    
Hansford Teater, 57, of Stambaugh, succumbed to an extended
illness on Saturday, July 6, 1974.
  
Born on October 28, 1916, Mr. Teater was the son of Emitt and
Reva Burton Teater, who survive, and was a member of the
Church of Christ.
  
Also surviving are his wife, Jalema Stambaugh Teater; one
son, Jessie Teater of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one brother, Oran
Teater of Paintsville; and two sisters, Mrs. Billie Hadley of
Harrodsburg, and Mrs. C. L. Bruce of Nashville, Tennessee.
  
Funeral services for Mr. Teater were held Tuesday, July 9,
1974, in the Chapel of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home with
Reverends Waylon Lawrence and Bennie Blankenship officiating.
  
Interment was in the Stambaugh Family Cemetery at Stambaugh
with arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home.
