HENRY STRICKLIN SR Henry (Dock) Stricklin, Sr., retired contractor and former resident of Paintsville, died in a Mansfield, Ohio hospital Saturday, December 11, 1954, following an illness of four weeks. Born March 8, 1861 in Wise County, Va., he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Woods Stricklin.  He had been a resident of Mansfield for the past two months. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine McFaddin Sticklin. Surviving are two sons, Frank Stricklin, Mansfield, O., Henry Stricklin, Jr., Ypsilanti, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Sola Mahan, Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. Garnet Flint, St. Louis, Mo. Funeral serviced were held Tuesday at the Jones and Preston Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude Preston officiating. Music was by the Williams Quartet. Burial was made in the Fairchild Cemetery at Paintsville under the direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home.
