James Thomas “Tommy” Stambaugh, 57, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at
Rockcastle County Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Stambaugh was born June 22, 1943, in Johnson County, to the late Una
and Alice Preston Stambaugh.

He was an office manager for Colley Block and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include two sons, David and Danny Stambaugh, both of Hager Hill;
two brothers, Mike Stambaugh of Van Lear and Joe Stambaugh of Paintsville;
and one sister, Nancy Carol Click of Hager Hill.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 2, in the Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Johnny Ratliff and Hedgel Golden officiating.

Burial was in the Stambaugh-Preston Cemetery at Hager Hill with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
