ALICE STAMBAUGH
1919-1985
  
Hager Hill resident Alice Stambaugh, 66, died October 3 1985 in St.
Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV.
  
Mrs. Stambaugh was born September 10, 1919, in Johnson County, the
daughter of  HARRY and LILLIAN DILLS PRESTON.
  
Her husband, Una Stambaugh preceded her in death December 22, 1979.
  
Surviving are three sons, Billy Joe, James and Charles Stambaugh,
all of Hager Hill; two daughters, Nancy Click of Hager Hill and May
Brown of Denver; a brother, Buster Preston of Hager Hill; and five
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 6, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Joe Bayes and Rev. Doug Burkett
officiating.
  
Burial was in Preston Cemetery at Hager Hill. Paintsville Herald,
October 9, 1985.
