MARY JANE SPRADLIN
1881-1966
    
Mary Jane Spradlin, age 84 years, 5 months, 22 days, passed away at a
local hospital at 11:15 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 1966.
  
Mrs. Spradlin was born September 4, 1881 in Johnson County, the
daughter of the late John and Martha Hitchcock Selvage. She lived at
Barnetts Creek, Kentucky, at the time of her death.
   
She was the wife of the late James Winfield Spradlin who preceded her
in death January 7, 1966.
  
She is survived by three sons, Crate Spradlin, Springfield, Ohio;
Thurman Spradlin, Orient, Ohio; Vern Spradlin, Donaldsville, Ohio.
  
Five daughters also survive, Mrs. Fannie Williams, Mt.Sterling, Ohio
; Mrs.Dessie Horn, Staffordsville, Ky.; Mrs.Dorothy
Adams,Salyersville, Ky.; Mrs.Daisy Sheild, Lexington, Indiana;
Mrs.Josephine Horn, Barnetts Creek, Ky.
  
She is also survived by one sister and four brothers, Mrs.Malta
Ratliff,Denver, Ky.; Jesse Selvage, Ohio; Add Selvage, W. Van Lear,
Ky.; Cal Selvage, Van Lear, Ky.; Clate Selvage, Denver, Ky.
  
Half sisters surviving are, Mrs. Stella Lloyd, Ohio; Mrs.Gracie
Mishon, Ohio; Mrs.Zora Ward, Staffordsville, Ky.; Mrs.Myrtle
Fairchild, Paintsville, Ky.; Mrs.Tavia Ealey, Paintsville, Ky.
  
There are also 4 half brothers: Wade Selvage - Ashland, Ky., Ford
Selvage - West Virginia, Dewey Selvage - Staffordsville, Ky., Kelly
Selvage - Ohio,
  
Also surviving are 34 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and 1
great-great grandchild.
  
Mrs. Spradlin accepted Christ through person witness in 1965.
