At Stambaugh
R.C. Spencer, 55, died Sunday morning at his home at Stambaugh,
Ky., following an illness of several weeks.
Born November 16, 1869 at Charley, Lawrence County, Ky., he was the
son of the late John B. and Fanny Davis Spencer.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Matilda Stambaugh Spencer, whom he married
in May, 1898.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning at the Locust Grove
Baptist Church with F. F. Rigsby and Edgar Burchett as officiating
ministers.
Burial was made in the Stambaugh Cemetery under the direction of
the Preston Funeral Home.
