LURALINE SLUSS
1937-1964
   
Mrs. Luraline Sluss, 27, resident of Barnetts Creek, died in a
local hospital at 11:20 p.m., Monday, June 15, following a brief
illness.
   
A daughter of Hazel Crace Blair and the late John Sluss, she was
born in Johnson County April 3, 1937, and had resided at Barnetts
Creek most of her life.
   
Survivors also include a daughter, Lathena Faye Rice, Barnetts
Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Caudill, Miss Freda Blair, Miss
Yvonna Blair, Barnetts Creek; two brothers, Charley Conley, Betsy
Layne; John Wayne Blair, Barnetts Creek.
   
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the
Barnetts Creek United Baptist Church with Lonza Reed and Francis
Blair as officiating ministers.
  
Burial will be in the Rice Cemetery at Barnetts Creek
