SILLER REED   Siller Reed, 74, died Friday, February 20,1976, in the Paintsville Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Music Hurt. Born May 12,1901, in Johnson County, she was a resident of East Point and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Reed, on April 24,1927. Surviving are two sons, Sammie Reed of East Point and Steward Hall of Oaklnd,Calif.; five daughters, Maggie McCloud of Thealka, Mary Hurt of East Point,Gracie Tackett and Minnie Pearl Whitaker, both of Columbus, Ohio,and Billie Jean Reed of Mt. Gilean,Ohio; a sister, Sola Caudill of Bloomdale, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, February 23, in the East Point Church of Christ with Rev. Dave Flannery officiating. Burial was in the family cemetary at East Point with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.   Paintsville Herald 2-25-1976 Wednesday
