Mrs. Angie Reed, 52 East Point Resident, Succumbs Wednesday
Mrs. Angie Reed, 52, East Point died in a local hospital January 7, following an illness of four weeks.
Death was attributed to a ruptured apendix.
Born at Odds, Ky., January 6, 1901 she was the daughter of Harriett Honeycutt Sisco and the late John Sisco. She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
She was married August 10, 1921 to Frank Reed who survives.
Surviving besides her husband and mother are four sons; John Melvin, James Wilnfred, Paris and Noah Sisco, all of East Point; two daughters, Josephine Pennington and Virginia Honeycutt, both of East Point. Other survivors include eight brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the United Baptist Church at East Point with the Rev. Grover Fannin officiating.
Burial was made in the family cemetery at East Point under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
