MILLARD PRESTON
1914-1998
  
Millard Preston, 83, of Boons Camp, died Thursday, April 16, 1998,
at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
  
He was born October 27 1914, in Johnson County, the son  Willie
and Linnie Ward Preston.
  
He was a retired miner.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Mary
Butcher Preston, who he married May 13, 1938, in Paintsville.
  
He is survived by two sons, Charles Preston and Darrell Preston,
both of Boons Camp; two daughters, Shirley Jean Smith and Joyce
Ann Mollette, both of Boons Camp; one brother, Johnny Preston of
Sitka; 18 grandchildren; and 22 greatgrandchildren.
  
Services were April 19, at the residence of Millard Preston in
Boons Camp with Isaac Rowland officiating and Preston Funeral Home
caring for those arrangements.
  
Burial was in the Ballard Butcher Cemetery in Boons Camp.
