HAZEL PRESTON 1907-1960 Mrs. Hazel Preston, 52, died at 1:55 a.m., April 21, in the Edward J. Myers Hospital in Buffalo, N. Y., of cancer after an illness of five months. The daughter of Mrs. Lura Deboard Butcher of Boons Camp and the late Ballard Butcher, she was born at Boons Camp August 27, 1907, and had lived in New York for the past year. Surviving are her husband, Jim Preston; Orville Swain and James Preston, both of Wabash, Indiana; one daughter, Mrs. Don Leach, Wabash, Indiana; four brothers, Allan Butcher, Blair, W. Va.; Earl and Marcus L. and Willie Butcher, of Boons Camp; three sisters, Mrs. Bill Mollett, Mrs. Millard Preston and Mrs. Earl Preston, all of Boons Camp. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, from the home of her mother at Boons Camp with Fred Rowland as officiating minister. Burial was in the Butcher Cemetery at Boons Camp.
