VERNA EVELYN PICKLESIMER

Verna Evelyn Estep Picklesimer, 77, of Flat Gap, died Thursday,
Aug. 21, 2003 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born July 22, 1926, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Lilburn H. Estep and Julia Young Picklesimer. She was a after
school day care worker with W. R. Castle Elementary School.
Survivors include her husband, Francis Milton Picklesimer; six
sons, Francis Leroy Picklesimer and Ronnie Dean Picklesimer, both
of Chesapeake, Ohio, Robert Leon Picklesimer of Staffordsville,
Larry Clayton Picklesimer of Copperas Cove, Texas, Hansford Dulton
Picklesimer of Bedford, Va., and Timothy Gene of Flat Gap; two
daughters, Virginia Lynn Click of Flat Gap and Janet Eileen Hall
of Prestonsburg; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 24, at Paintsville Church of
Christ, Paintsville, with Rev. Kenneth Chambers officiating.
Burial was in Sheridan Estep Family Cemetery, Flat Gap, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
