FRANCIS MILTON PICKLESIMER 1915-2003 JOHNSON COUNTY Francis Milton Picklesimer, 88, of Flat Gap, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003 at his residence. Born May 24, 1915, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Homer D. and Ethel Conley Picklesimer. He was a retired truck driver and an US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Evelyn Estep Picklesimer. Survivors include six sons, Frances Leroy Picklesimer and Ronnie Dean Picklesimer, both of Chesapeake, Ohio, Timothy Picklesimer of Flat Gap, Robert Leon Picklesimer of Staffordsville, Larry Clayton Picklesimer of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Hansford Dulton Picklesimer of Bedford, Ohio; two daughters, Virginia Lynn Click of Flat Gap and Janet Elleen Hall of Prestonsburg; six brothers, Walter Picklesimer of Orange City, Fla., Estill Picklesimer and Hansel Picklesimer, both of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Hubert Picklesimer of Swords Creek, Va., Everett Willis Picklesimer of Carey, Ohio, and Homer Picklesimer of Volga; three sisters, Juanita Bell of Whelling, W.Va., Ann Monroe of Simpsonville, S.C., and Betty Carey of Volga; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 6, at Paintsville Church of Christ with Rev. Kenneth Chambers officiating. Burial was in Sheridan Estep Family Cemetery, Flat Gap, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville. Auxier Chapter 18 of DAV conducted military services.
