JANET PERKEY Janet Perkey, 69, Dies August 29 In Paintsville Mrs, Janet Perkey, age 69, died August 29 1965, following an illness of two weeks in the Paintsville Hospital. Born July 13 1896 at Meally, she was the daughter of Luke and Nannie Damron Booth. A member of the Freewill Baptist Church she was married to T. J. Perkey. She is also survived by three sons, Kue Perkey of Chicago. III.; Thomas Jr, Perkey of Wayne, Mich.: and Bill Perkey of Detroit, Mich. Two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Ann Aronson of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. Beatrice McPeek of Virgie; twenty grandchildren; three brothers, Harrison Booth of Auxier; Frank Booth of Van Lear; and Charlie Booth of Richardson. Funeral services were held In the chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home August 29, with the Rev. James Sturgill officiating, and the Auxier Quartet. Burial was held in the family cemetery with the Paintsville Funeral Home in charge.
