IRVIN MUSIC Irvin Music, 70, of Hager Hill died Saturday September 25 1971 in a local hospital following a brief illness. Music was a retired coal miner, a member of the United Mine Workers of America, and was affiliated with the West Van Lear Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Lincoln and Mahala Webb Music, of Floyd County. Immediate survivors include his wife Hulda Fairchild Music, three sons, James E. Music of Columbus, Ohio; Billie Music of Sunbury, Ohio; and Howard Cecil Music of Hager Hill. Also surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Quentin Spradlin of Hager Hill; one brother, Melvin Music of Mechanicsburg Ohio, and one sister Mrs. Eunice Stambaugh of Hager Hill. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 28, at the West Van Lear Church of Christ by officiating ministers, Cecil Sherman, and J.D. Short. Burial was in the family cemetery at Hager Hill with funeral arrangemnents under the directions of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Sep.29 1971
