Howard Cecil Music, 72, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born Sept. 29, 1931, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Irvin and
Hulda Fairchild Music.
He was a salesman with Dowell and a U. S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marrietta Lackey Music of Paintsville; two
sons, James L. Music of West Liberty, and Jon Michael Music of Hager Hill;
two daughters, Wendy Mollette of Huntingburg, Ind., and Paula Preston Meek
of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two brothers, James Edward Music of Columbus,
Ohio, and William I. Music of Ashville, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 28, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home,
Paintsville, with Larry Jo Bayes and David Wells officiating.
Burial was in Music Family Cemetery, Hager Hill, under direction of Phelps
and Son Funeral Home.
