Clarence Edward Murray, 76 of Kermit, W.Va., died Thursday, Jul.31
2003 at J.J, Jordan Geriatric Center, Louisa.
Born March 20,1927, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Elbert Murray and Oma Salyers Murray. He was an ordained minister
of the Enterprise Baptist Association.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Murray; a daughter,
Patricia Grim; two brothers, Cecil Murray and Paul Murray; and two
sisters, Helen Murray and Hermalee Ross.
He is survived by his wife, Goldine Ball Murray; two daughters,
Mary Hall of Springfield, Ohio, and Sandra Church of Wallard; four
brothers, Robert Murray of Dayton, Ohio, Thomas Murray of
Paintsville, Troy Ray of Columbus, Ohio, and Phillip Murray, of
Mechanicsburg, Ohio; four sisters, Nevelena Guesto of Florida,
Maxene Ripley of Berea, and Irene Slone and Lorene Harris, both of
Flat Gap; 14 stepchildren; seven grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 2, at Phelps and Son Funeral
Home with Russell Ball and Jay Burchwell officiating.
Burial was in Salyers Cemetery, Sitka, under direction of Phelps
and Son Funeral Home.
