ALLEN BATES LEWIS

Allen Bates Lewis, 27, of Baltimore, Maryland died in
Baltimore on October 21 1974 following an extended illness.
  
The son of Julian B and Virginia Stambaugh Lewis, who
survive, he was born March 18,1947 and was a member of the
Church of Christ.
  
Also survivng are his maternal grandmother Mrs. Alice
Stambaugh of Stambaugh and a brother Larry Keith Lewis of
Baltimore.
   
Reverend Bennie Blankenship officiated at funeral services
for Mr. Lewis on Friday, October 25, in the Chapel of the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
  
Burial was in the Stambaugh Cemetery with arrangements under
the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
