Mona Evans Kelly, 95, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007
at Mt. Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
  
Born Feb. 19, 1912, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Leo and Mary Kelly Evans. She was a cook with Flat Gap School.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lundy Kelly, in 1981.
  
Survivors include three sons, Windell Kelly of Flat Gap and Marlin
L. Kelly and William D. Kelly, both of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter,
Wanda Kelly Holbrook of Springhill, Fla.; a half-sister, Julie
Bishop of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Tim Salyers and Harold Salyers
officiating.
  
Burial was in Skaggstown Cemetery, Flat Gap, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
