LUCY MANDY KEEL

Lucy Mandy Vires Keel, 90, died Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.
  
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Sherman Keel;
and two brothers, Doleg and John Vires.
  
Mrs. Keel was born March 9, 1907, in Johnson County, to the late Alex
Vires and Addie Honeycutt.
  
Surviving are her husband, Kermit Keel; three sons, Bobby Keel of Van
Lear, Herman Keel of Continental, Ohio; Mermon Keel of Defiance,
Ohio; two daughters, Dorothy Slone of Van Lear; and Judy Meade, of
Defiance, Ohio; one sister, Etha Mae Wells of Taplin, West Virginia;
13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
  
Services will be May 17, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with
Manford Fannin and Roger Hill officiating.
  
Burial was in the family Cemetery at Daniels Creek.
