Franklin Keel, 64, of Inez died July 6, at the Martin County Health
Care Facility.
  
Born July 18, 1936 in Johnson County, the son of the late Rufus and
Lucy Keel Delong, he was a welder.
  
Survivors include one son, Gregory Allen Keel of Wabash, IN., step
son, James Nyburg of Auxier; two daughters, Jennifer Louise Keel
Tyson of Wabash, IN. and Mary Louise Keel Moore of Auxier; two
brothers, Stanley Keel of Van Lear; two sisters, Dean Hamilton of
Cleveland, OH. and Loraine Hopson of Van Lear; and three
grandchildren.
  
Services were held July 8, with Reverend Frank Osborne officiating at
Phelps and Son Funeral Home.
  
Burial followed at Keel Family Cemetery, Van Lear.
  
Arrangements were conducted by Phelps and Son Funeral Home.
