Bobby Keel, 60, of Van Lear, died Saturday, April 30, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
  
Born Nov. 17, 1944, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Kermit and Lucy Vires Keel.
  
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Keel.
  
Survivors include a son, Timothy Keel of Paducah; a daughter, Tammy
Keel of Prestonsburg; two brothers, Herman and Merman Keel, both of
Defiance, Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy Slone of Van Lear and Judy Meade
of Defiance; and four grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 3, at Van Lear Enterprize Baptist
Church, with Roger Hill and Kenny Collins officiating.
  
Burial was in Keel Family Cemetery, Van Lear, under direction of
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Inc.
