GRANT JOHNSON

Grant Johnson, 88, died Thursday, December 26, in St. Mary's
Hospital in Huntington, WV.

Mr. Johnson was born September 15, 1897, in Johnson County,
the son of Mason and Rhoda Fitch Johnson.

He was a resident of Hager Hill, a retired miner and a member
of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Daisy Rice Johnson, who he married in
June 1916; two sons, Glen and Hansel Johnson of Hager Hill; a
brother, L.A. Johnson of Hager Hill; and three sisters, Cora
Lee Cantrell and Mary Little of Hager Hill, and Bessie Little
of Monticello.

Funeral services were held December 28 in Collista Freewill
Baptist Church with Clarence Lemaster officiating.

Burial was in Johnson Cemetery at Hager Hill.
