STEVEN HOY
Wittensville resident Steve Hoy, 23, died Sunday,
January 12 1986 in Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Steve Hoy was born November 30 1962, in Canton Ohio.
He was employed as a hair stylist for Christi Creations
and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents, John and Emma Lee Ratliff Hoy
of Low Gap. Wittensville; his wife Vicky Bryant Hoy; a
daughter, Stephanie Dianne Hoy; and his maternal
grandfather Frank Ratliff, his step-grandmother Julia
Salyers Ratliff of Bunnell Fl. maternal grandmother,
Ruth R. Daniels, and step-grandfather Orville Daniels of
West Van Lear, and in-laws Johnny and Diana Bryant
of Teaberry; and two step-brothers Marty Shimbell and
Scotty Hoy.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister,
Jeffrey Wayne Starier, and Ruth Aurilia Hoy.
Funeral services will be held today Wednesday,
January 15, at 1:00 p.m. in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Hubert Slone officiating.
Burial will be in the Ratliff Cemetery at Denver.
