Martin Resident Succumbs Monday
Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Mary E. Hall
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hall, 73, died at her home at Tomahawk
Monday (Apr.13 1953) following an illness of six months.
Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Born in Wayne, West Virginia, September 11, 1879 she was the
daughter of McKager and Emevah Williamson Bailey. She had
been a resident of Tomahawk for 28 years.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Hall and Elizie Hall, both of
Tomahawk; six daughters, Nance Jane Daniels, Dayton, Ohio;
Martha Ann Lewis, Boons Camp, Myrtle F. Gauliger, Louisville,
Lizzie Crum, Detroit, Michigan, Mary Arthur, Davisport, and
Margie Wiley, Tomahawk. One sister and one brother, Nancy
Bailey and Johnny Bailey.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Phillip Cove
Freewill Baptist Church at Tomahawk with the Revs. Melvin
Sisco and Verne Conley officiating.
Burial was in the Butcher cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
