WILLIE HALE 1895-1965 Willie Hale, 70, died at 9:30 p.m., June 23, in a local hospital following an illness of two months. Born February 3, 1895, he was a son of Charlie and Sally Wallen Hale. He was affiliated with the Enterprise Baptist Church and was a retired miner. He is survived by his wife, Julia Edwards Hale; six sons, Richard Hale, Van Lear; Willie Hale, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; James Earl Hale, Blaine; Bobbie Gene Hale, Grayson, Arthur Hale, Fort Knox; Bennie Joe Hale, Russell; four daughters, Ruby Burke, Sitka, Jewell Edwards, Blaine; Margie Moore, Columbus, Ohio; and Irene Edwards, Ashland. Other sirvivors include two brothers, Homer Hale, East Point, Isaac Hale, Roanoke, Va.: two sisters, Ester Hale, Lexington and Anna Chandler, Minford, Ohio. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., June 26, in the Enterprise Baptist Churc, Kerz, Ky., with the Revs. Ellis Hamilton and Bruce Daniel officiating. Music was furnished by the Rice Quartet.
