WILLIE HALE
1895-1965

Willie Hale, 70, died at 9:30 p.m., June 23, in a local hospital
following an illness of two months.

Born February 3, 1895, he was a son of Charlie and Sally Wallen Hale. He
was affiliated with the Enterprise Baptist Church and was a retired
miner.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Edwards Hale; six sons, Richard Hale,
Van Lear; Willie Hale, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; James Earl Hale, Blaine;
Bobbie Gene Hale, Grayson, Arthur Hale, Fort Knox; Bennie Joe Hale,
Russell; four daughters, Ruby Burke, Sitka, Jewell Edwards, Blaine;
Margie Moore, Columbus, Ohio; and Irene Edwards, Ashland. Other
sirvivors include two brothers, Homer Hale, East Point, Isaac Hale,
Roanoke, Va.: two sisters, Ester Hale, Lexington and Anna Chandler,
Minford, Ohio.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., June 26, in the Enterprise
Baptist Churc, Kerz, Ky., with the Revs. Ellis Hamilton and Bruce Daniel
officiating. Music was furnished by the Rice Quartet.

Burial was in the family cemetery under the direction of the Paintsville
Funeral Home.
